Make Time for Lunch at Work
While many of us know how important it is to take the time to refuel our minds and our bodies with a healthy lunch, many of us are just too busy to pause for a bite to eat during the day.
Try these three tips and take back your lunchtime.
Tip #1: Organize your to-do list before you have a bite to eat.
Before you head to the kitchen to prepare your Chicken Tikka Masala, organize your to-do list. This will ease any unwarranted stress that can come from returning to your desk only to find that your daily plan has been turned upside down.
Tip #2: Step away from your desk.
Even on days you can’t afford to take a full one-hour lunch break, pledge to give yourself at least 10 minutes away from your desk. In the time it takes you to heat and eat your favorite Tandoor Chef entrée, your mental fatigue will have disappeared.
Tip #3: Eat the right foods.
Processed foods that are high in fat and sugar won’t do your mental or physical energy any good. Our tip? Reach for a veggie-packed Tandoor Chef entrèe. We use the freezing process as a natural preservative, so all that’s left for you is the taste of fresh vegetables, authentic spices and bold sauces.
